Course Types and Structure

Akaademy.org offers two distinct types of educational content: Live Courses, which are real-time interactive classes with instructors, and Recorded Courses, which are pre-recorded video content available on-demand. All courses are designed to provide comprehensive learning experiences within your chosen field of study.

Enrollment Process and Trial Access

For Live Courses, we provide the first 2 classes free for trial purposes, allowing you to experience our teaching quality and course content before making a financial commitment. Payment must be completed before accessing the 3rd class. For Recorded Courses, access is granted immediately upon successful payment. All enrolled students receive 2 years of access from the date of enrollment, and course availability is subject to our discretion.

Course Content and Language

All course materials are designed for personal, educational use only and may be updated or modified without prior notice to ensure current and relevant content. We strive to maintain high-quality audio, video, and course content standards. Currently, all course materials are delivered in Bengali language, with English support planned for future updates.

Download Policy and Permitted Materials

Students are strictly prohibited from downloading paid video content, including live class recordings and pre-recorded video lessons. However, students are permitted to download supplementary educational materials such as documents, datasets, code files, and other practice materials provided as part of their enrolled courses. These downloadable materials are intended to support your learning process and practical application of course concepts. All downloaded materials remain subject to our intellectual property rights and may only be used for personal educational purposes.

Certification Policy

Upon successful course completion, students receive certificates that are valued and appreciated by different companies in Bangladesh and beyond. Certificate requirements include meeting attendance and performance criteria as specified in each individual course. All certificates are digitally verifiable through our platform, ensuring authenticity and credibility for your professional development.

Technical Requirements

To ensure optimal learning experience, students need a stable internet connection and compatible devices including desktop computers, laptops, tablets, or smartphones. An updated web browser is recommended for best performance during live classes and accessing recorded content.

PAYMENT TERMS

Pricing and Payment Processing

All course prices are displayed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and are subject to change without prior notice. We process all payments through our secured payment system powered by SSLCOMMERZ, ensuring that all transactions are encrypted and secure. This provides our students with confidence in the safety of their financial information.

Payment Schedule and Requirements

For Live Courses, payment is required before accessing the 3rd class, following your 2 free trial classes. For Recorded Courses, full payment is required before course access is granted. Failed payments may result in immediate suspension of access to course materials and live sessions.

Comprehensive Refund Policy

For Live Courses: Refund requests can be made up to the 5th class, with no refunds processed after attending the 5th class. This policy allows sufficient time to evaluate course quality while maintaining fairness to our instructors and other students.

For Recorded Courses: Refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase, providing adequate time to review initial course content and determine if the course meets your expectations.

Refund Conditions: We grant refunds for legitimate quality concerns including poor sound quality that significantly impacts learning, poor video quality that hinders course comprehension, or poor course content that doesn’t match the advertised curriculum.

Refund Processing: All approved refunds are processed within 3 to 4 days. To request a refund, submit your request to info.akaademy@gmail.com with detailed reasons. Our team will review and respond within 24-48 hours. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method, though SSLCOMMERZ processing fees may be deducted from the refund amount.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All content on the Platform, including courses, videos, text, graphics, and software, is owned by Akaademy Limited or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of Bangladesh. User-Generated Content

While you retain ownership of content you submit to the Platform such as assignments, projects, and discussion contributions, by submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display such content for educational purposes. You represent and warrant that your content does not infringe on third-party rights.

Permitted Use Guidelines

You may access and use course materials solely for personal educational purposes. Recording, downloading, sharing, or distributing live classes is strictly prohibited. Screenshots or copying of course content without permission is not permitted, and course materials cannot be used for commercial purposes under any circumstances.

USER CONDUCT AND PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

Prohibited Activities

Additionally, uploading malicious software or harmful content, using inappropriate language or behavior during live sessions, attempting to reverse engineer or hack the Platform, creating fake accounts or impersonating others, and using the Platform for any illegal activities are forbidden.

Live Class Conduct Expectations

During live sessions, students must maintain respectful behavior, follow instructor guidelines for participation, use appropriate language and maintain professional decorum, and report technical issues immediately to support. This ensures a productive learning environment for all participants.

Consequences for Violations

Violations of these rules may result in warnings and temporary suspension, permanent account termination, forfeiture of course fees, or legal action if necessary. We take these policies seriously to maintain the integrity of our educational platform.

PLATFORM AVAILABILITY AND TECHNICAL ISSUES

Service Availability Commitment

We strive to maintain 24/7 platform availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service due to factors beyond our control. Live classes are scheduled and conducted according to announced timetables, and scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible. We are not liable for temporary unavailability due to technical issues beyond our reasonable control.

Live Class Technical Support

If technical issues affect live class quality, makeup sessions may be provided at our discretion. Students experiencing individual technical problems should contact support immediately for assistance. However, we are not responsible for internet connectivity issues on the user’s end or technical problems arising from inadequate user equipment.

TERMINATION
